The Temple of Uxbridge Lodge 7660 turned up the fun-o-meter to max for the Provincial Family Fun Day! Lodge members and their families joined forces to run the hilariously tricky Pick A Duck Stall and the roar-some Dinosaur Hoopla, raising a quacking £200 for the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices!
The day kicked off with some dramatic stormy skies, but Mother Nature must have been in on the fun, because just in time for the gates to swing open at high noon, the sun decided to make a grand entrance. Soon, members from all corners of the province started rolling in, ready for a day of train rides at the Great Cockcrow Railway and more stalls than you could shake a stick at!
Peter and Liz, with a little help from their family dream team, worked their magic setting up the stall. They were joined by the dynamic duo of Lee Nichols (who’d recently been promoted to expert helper), Jason Wilkinson, James Bradshaw, Tommy Lea, and their equally awesome partners. Together, they made sure everyone left with smiles as big as the dinosaurs at the hoopla!
